PEAHEN BOOKEND & MINI SHELF (2024)
These joyous outstretched arms are a subtle, abstract hint at an appreciation of the peacock’s majestic reveal -- so the piece had to be named for a fellow appreciator, the peahen. The design also speaks to a theme that drives my work, the dance between order and chaos. This piece is part of the collection "Bad Graces," conceived and designed during a period when I lost the ability to walk. Made to order, with a current build time of 3-4 weeks. Sold individually in gloss red or gloss black. Custom colors can be arranged.
